These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Free CV Maker at freecvmaker.site (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The service

Free CV Maker is a free online tool that lets you create, edit and download a CV or resume, and read guides about writing a CV. The service is provided free of charge and without an account. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

2. Your content

  • You own the content you enter into the Site or upload to it, including your CV.
  • Your content is processed in your browser and is not stored on our servers, so you are responsible for keeping your own copies — for example, by downloading your CV as a PDF.
  • You are responsible for making sure the information in your CV is accurate and truthful, and that you have the right to use any content you upload.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose or to create fraudulent or misleading documents;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the Site or its infrastructure;
  • copy, resell or redistribute the Site's design, code or guides as your own product without permission;
  • use automated tools to scrape the Site in a way that harms its performance.

4. Intellectual property

The Site's design, branding, text and guides belong to Free CV Maker or its licensors. Open-source libraries used by the Site remain subject to their own licences. You may download and use the CVs you create for any personal or professional purpose, including job applications.

5. Advertising and third-party links

The Site may display advertisements and contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of third-party websites or advertisers. Your dealings with them are solely between you and them.

6. No guarantees

The Site and its guides are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the tool working and the guides accurate, but we do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, that imported CVs will be converted perfectly, or that using the Site will lead to job interviews or offers. 7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Free CV Maker will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, opportunities or profits, arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under laws that cannot be excluded.

8. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how information is handled when you use the Site.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
